Digital Marketing Manager


Decipher Biosciences is looking for an experienced digital marketer with demonstrated history of working in the biotechnology and health care industries.

As our Digital Marketing/Marketing Automation Manager, you will be an integral part of commercial marketing in defining the process and development of our digital marketing presence. In this role, you will use your strong grasp of Salesforce (SFDC), marketing automation as well as website development and management to manage the development and implementation of our marketing automation and digital marketing strategy. Together with our SFDC developers and commercial marketing you will help expand the commercial presence of Decipher Biosciences through direct and digital channels. The successful candidate will have a diverse digital marketing, SFDC and marketing automation skill set.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    • Websites.  Design, development and continuous improvement; analytics tracking and improvement; search engine optimization; social media integration.
    • Marketing Automation implementation through Hubspot and SFDC
    • SFDC administration to optimize a closed loop marketing ecosystem
    • SFDC administration to develop and optimize sales and marketing focused features of the platform
    • Marketing and Sales optimization of SFDC together with IT and software development teams
    • Digital marketing strategy together with commercial marketing.  Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns as well as tracking and reporting of conversion rates
    • Press releases.  Working with vendors to assure that press releases cross the wire at the desired time and that media outreach is effectively executed.

We are seeking an experienced marketer with a preference of the below experiences.  Exceptions may be made depending on education and experience.

  • 3+ years in a technical or marketing role in a genomics- or genetics-oriented firm preferred
  • Direct experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing and marketing automation
  • Knowledge of WordPress and/or other content management systems
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML and PHP
  • Salesforce experience: admin required, development preferred
  • A bachelor’s degree is required, with a preference for biological sciences
  • An advanced degree is preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Adaptability to changes and challenges
  • Tenacity and the drive to make an impact
  • Team player with demonstrated track record of collaboration with others
